Faerie Card Reading for the Week of August 20 – 26, 2018

Card: Body Movement – from the Healing with the Fairies Oracle Cards by Doreen Virtue.

“Your physical body has its own life force and intelligence, and it’s part of the same elemental kingdom as the fairies. It’s both childlike and demanding, as well as mature and insightful. This card indicates your body’s wisdom, and asks that your body’s need for exercise and movement.”

Message from the Faeries: With all the important work you’ve been doing, a way to keep your energies level up is by getting a bit of exercise every day. It doesn’t have to be anything extreme, it can just be going for a little walk or dancing for a few minutes in your living room. The thing we recommend most is doing some stretches and working on your core strength.

Another great way to keep your energy levels up is by eating well. This means different things for different people. You know your body best. Avoid eating foods that make you feel unwell, tired and sluggish. Keep those high energy foods around for snacks at all times.

Also, it’s important to get the proper amount of rest and sleep. Again, you know what works best for you. Whatever you need to feel rested up. Try to stick to a routine. As we said last week. It’s really import to stay focused right now.

We love you,

The Faeries

Listening to My Body

So the other day, during our Faerie Card Reading for this week, The Faeries gave us a really strong message to listen to our body. I have to say, this is a really great message for me this week. I’ve been trying really hard to pay attention to my body and the messages that it has been sending me. Honestly, I’ve been ignoring my body for quite a long time. I mean, yeah, I pay attention to it when it hurts because I don’t really have a choice, but for the most part I’m really not paying too much attention to it.

For the last two years I have been exercising more regularly that I used to. I go to gym a few times a week, and walk to work every day, so I know I am being active. I’ve also been trying to eat very healthy, but sometimes I get caught up in my old patters with food. I’ve had a pretty deep pattern of emotional eating ever since I was little. Whenever I feel stressed out, or sad, I immediately reach out for the sugary-carby snacks. I love to “reward” myself with lots of treats whenever I get the chance – and I somehow find an excuse quite easily to eat some sugar. My body has tried telling me for a long time now that eating all these treats just isn’t that great for me. Besides the excess weight I carry around, I have also developed strong symptoms of candida, and I often feel terrible after eating sugar.

I’ve noticed that in the last few weeks, my body has been telling me an even more strong message: Don’t eat meat. I was a vegetarian for a very long time, and then I wasn’t, and then I was, and then I wasn’t…well right now eating meat is a no go. The smell, the look, the texture – everything about meat – is making my stomach turn. I can’t stand the idea of biting into flesh. It wasn’t a problem even just a few weeks ago, but it’s just not happening for me.

I’m not sure how long I’ll be eating vegetarian. I imagine it’s probably going to be quite some time. When I asked The Faeries why my body is telling me not eat meat, this is what they have to say:

“Meat is a very low vibrational food. When you eat meat, yes it has protein and nutrients that can help you body, but there is the consciousness of that animal that is being slaughtered. There is a lot of fear and other low vibrational feelings inside the flesh of these animals. The animal is often sick or unhealthy because it is living in substandard conditions. If you were living more in harmony with animals and treating them with love and respect, and you ate the animal after it died of natural causes, this would be a bit different, but even then – you are eating something that had a soul – it had a consciousness – it had thoughts and feelings, just like you do. Meat is a low vibrational food.

Plants have a consciousness as well, this is true, but most vegetation doesn’t carry the vibration of fear. Plants vibrate at a very high frequency. It is especially beneficial to eat plants that were grown with lots of care and love, or that grew free in the wild, but this is not possible for everyone. You are much better off eating a diet that is rich in plants. This is the highest vibrational food you can eat.

You are what you eat, and the more you are open to vibrating at a higher frequency, the more your body and spirit will guide you eating food that is very clean and healthy.”

What is your body telling you these days? I would really love hear your stories.

Much love,

Erin xoxo

Faerie Card Reading for the Week of February 2nd – 8th, 2015

Card: Move Your Body – from Kyle Gray’s Angel Prayers Oracle Cards.

“You may feel stagnant, but that’s OK, because now is the time when things are beginning to move again. Distance yourself from the energies that are standing in your way and make space for the thrilling opportunities that are being offered to you. If you’ve been putting off an exciting venture for some time, you’re encouraged to go for it now! Your Angels are the wings on your back and they want you to spread them now.”

Message from The Faeries: This week is all about your body. Your body is a truly amazing miracle. Your body houses you on this physical plane, and it is a very complex system that is so intricate and complicated in and of itself. Really think about your body. Think about what it means to have a body. Do you feel like you are your body? Is your body you? How do you feel about your body? Do you love your body?

We notice that most of you don’t really take the time to think about your body, and yet your body is such an important aspect of your being. While you are here on Earth, your body houses your soul. How amazing is that? And yet, many of you are somehow disconnected from your physical body. If you were truly connected to your physical body, most of you would be taking much better care of yourselves. You would be so aware that everything you eat, the energies and people you surround yourself with, your environment, that you would take extra care to only eat foods that make your body healthy and strong and that were energetically clean.

When you are connected to physical body, you are also aware that that how you take care of yourself physically also has a tremendous impact on your emotional body. Exercise, fresh air, clean water and healthy food are directly linked to your emotions and your state of mind. All the processed foods that some of you eat, all the poisons in your environment, and all the chemicals in your drinking water, are taking a toll on your physical being, and it’s having a huge impact on your emotional and mental being. Everything is connected!

Physical activity is a great way to bring you back into your body. Do some sort of physical activity this week, where it’s going for a walk, dancing to your favourite song, or climbing a mountain. Whatever you enjoy doing! While you are doing something. Physical, we ask that you really be present with your body. What is it saying to you? If you are in any sort of pain, listen to that and act accordingly. If your body is telling you stop, stop. If your body wants to keep going, keep going.

As part of your self care this week, if possible, also treat your body to massage or a hot bath. Take a visit to the chiropractor or acupuncturist. Do something that shows your body that you care for it and that you want to be healthy and well. Self-care is an essential part of moving in the direction of your heart’s desires.

We love you!

Making Myself My Life’s Passion

life passion

I had one of those A-ha! moments in the bath this morning. I often have revelations in the bath. I figure it must have something to do with being in the water. Anyhow, while I was in that bath this morning, I was contemplating why I feel as though I have hit some sort of wall with myself these days. For almost two years now I have been going to the gym and trying to take very good care of myself. I’ve been desperately trying to kick my sugar habit, and I have been mostly eating very healthy food.

The past few months I have sort of lost interest in all of it. It’s not that I don’t care about myself, and it isn’t that I don’t want to feel good about myself. I think that I’ve just grown tired at feeling like I have to work so hard at being healthy and happy. I remembered today that I had a conversation with some friends the other night, where I was telling them it was so much work to take care of myself. We all agreed that it was hard work to look after ourselves. As I remembered this conversation it dawned on me: No wonder I was tired of going to the gym and trying really hard to be healthy! I had turned my self-care into a job. I was treating it like it was work.

I think it’s really important for me to look after myself, and to be healthy and happy. I feel very passionately about it, as a matter of fact. Truth be told, I feel really good when I’m exercising regularly and when I avoid eating lots of carbs and sugar. The thing that I am getting all caught up in is that I’ve made it into something that isn’t fun and I am losing sight of my goals. When I get wrapped up in my fitness app, monitoring my calories and scrutinizing what I eat, I am not allowing myself to relax. When I make a regimented schedule out of my life, eventually I get bored and uninterested. I start to lose my passion when I have turned it into the idea that it’s a full-time job.

Being honest with myself here – it does take effort to be healthy and to do activities that I love and enjoy. Obviously if I just sit around all day eating junk food, I’m not going feel very good both physically and emotionally. The thing that I am learning here though, is that if I take myself too seriously and start to lose the joy out of what I am doing, I am missing the point. I don’t want my life to be a make-work-project. I want my life to be full of passion, joy, love and happiness. I want my life to be my life’s passion!

So starting today, I am going to return to the passion. I am going to return to the reason why I started on this journey of self-care. I am loving myself and listening to my body. I am giving it nourishment and love. I am giving it lots of exercise and healthy food. I am doing this not because it have to, I am doing this because I want to. I want to feel good. I want to be kind to myself. I want to love myself. I’m not doing this for anybody else, just me.

This journey doesn’t have to be hard. It doesn’t have to be difficult. The only reason why it’s been a challenge is because I was approaching it as a challenge. I’ve been thinking it’s difficult and hard, and so it has been difficult and hard. No more! This life’s passion journey of health is walked with ease and grace, with skips and jumps of joy and happiness.

Here is to making myself my life’s passion.

All my love,

Faerie Card Reading for the Week of June 30th – July 6th, 2014

Card: Ace of Air – from the Angel Tarot Cards by Doreen Virtue and Radleigh Valentine.

Message from the Faeries: The number one in the this card marks the beginning of this new chapter in your life. All the wacky, crazy, tumultuous stuff that has been going on for the last month is finally winding down, and you are now shifting into the next phase of your life–cycles. All the other Air cards in this deck are represented by unicorns, but this card is unique in that it is a pegacorn, not a unicorn. This pegacorn has spread it’s wings and is contemplating taking flight. This card represents you on your journey, getting ready to take flight in a new direction.

You’ve been working through a lot of stuff and made a lot of healthy changes in your life. Your taking better care of yourself – eating really healthy, getting exercise and taking the time to peace-out when you need to. Now that you’ve got the healthy patterns down, it’s time to focus on a project that you have set ahead for yourself in the future. The future is now. The time is now for you to move forward and jump into new projects, explore possibilities and do something you’ve never done before.

What is it that you really want to be doing right now? Set aside some time for yourself to pull out your dream boards, journals and wish boxes. Review what you had set for yourself in the past. Do a mental check mark of all the things on the list that you have accomplished. Look at the ones you haven’t completed or started yet. Decide if these are still your goals and aspirations. Discards the things you no longer want and make a fresh board, wishlist or journal entry of what you want to be doing right now.

Once you’ve decided what you want to be doing right now in your life, and what your new heart’s desires are, begin to take steps to living the way you want to live and actively make choices that put energy and love into your dreams. Everyone morning when you wake up, express gratitude deep in your heart for all that you have. Be thankful for all your wishes come true. Then be sure to remember to pray. Pray and give thanks for all that you have. Pray to give you strength and courage to be your authentic self. Pray for all the little things that you have forgotten to give thanks for. Take nothing for granted and always make choices and steps towards living the life you want to live. You can do this! We have all the faith in the world in you.

We love you,

The Faeries

Mental Illness or Mental Wellness

Mental Illness or Mental Wellness: Notes from the Field

I recently received some Theta Healing from Miriam Amylah Blazova, and I have to tell you that I am quite impressed with the immediate results that I observed from this healing session. I highly recommend Miriam as a Theta Healer, and I definitely recommend Theta Healing as a gentle and effective way to deal with core issues or patterns that you may wish to resolve or change.

I have been struggling recently with the issue of setting healthy boundaries with people that I am close to. I have been really struggling with this for the past few years. It has been a recurring problem and I asked for assistance with this issue during my healing session. Soon after our session was complete, I began to feel things shift around inside of me and found myself processing some very profound thoughts and ideas. After that I had a huge “Aha!” moment, that I would like to share with you.

After my healing session, I began to think about something that I often do with other people in my life. When I have some sort of conflict with someone I go through a process where I think about my actions, I think about their actions and I break the situation down. I take what is mine and own it, and parcel out what I believe to be theirs. I haven’t had too many conflicts in my life, so when I do I often find the process to be quite devastating or traumatizing. I will often find myself retreating inwards and internalizing the whole process. One way that I cope with the situation is that I give the person a list of excuses to explain away their behaviour. I then find myself defining that person, quite simply, as being mentally unwell or mentally unstable. They get the “mental illness” label.

I started to think about what mental illness was, and I thought about all the people in my life that I have assigned this unfortunate label. The list was starting to look long. Mental illness was ranging from everything from being bipolar to depression, psychotic behaviour to strange habits. I decided to have a heart to heart with Archangel Metatron about this. I asked him if all the people I had listed were mentally ill, and he said yes. I then had this heart sinking feeling and I asked “Am I mentally ill?”. The answer was: Yes! I couldn’t believe it! I then asked: “Are all humans mentally ill?”. Metatron answered: Yes. He then said: “Mental suffering or mental illness is part of the human condition. No person is immune to mental illness. Every human being will experiences mental illness in their life.”

Having to be honest with myself and face my own mental illness, I came to the next part of my realization. All of these unhealthy patterns in my life are a direct result of my mental illness. For example, the reason why I allow people to be abusive towards me is that I have negative self-talk and I don’t know how to stand up to bullying. Instead of standing up for myself, I shut down. I then started to think: what does mental wellness look like? Mental wellness, for myself, would mean me learning to stand up for myself and not allow people to bully me. I will not allow them to say negative and hurtful things to me, and I will not allow other people push me around. Being able to establish clear boundaries with people is detrimental to my mental wellness. How else can I create a safe environment for myself? It seems clear to me that in order for me to create mental wellness in my life, I am going to have to say no to all of the things that bring mental illness into my life. I have to stand brave like a warrior and and firmly say yes to all the things that bring mental wellness into my life, while turning away all the thing that bring mental illness into my life.

Here is the other important thing that I learned in this whole process, and this was resonated by something that Miriam said to me during the healing: It’s not for me to decide what another person’s mental illness is. It’s time for me to mind my own business. When I go around labeling other people’s mental illness, I am enforcing my own mental illness. It’s the Law of Attraction. If I go around focusing on mental illness – my own and other people’s mental illness – then I am consistently bringing mental illness into my life. Do I want to keep bringing mental illness into my life? Hell no! I want to encourage and develop my mental wellness, and ultimately I want to encourage the well being in everyone else.

That’s it in a nutshell: Focus on mental wellness. Focus on mental wellness. Focus on mental wellness.

I am well. I am well. I am well.

This is the lense that I am now choosing to see my world through. I find myself asking now: Is this for my highest good? Is this good for me? Is this going to help with my mental wellness? If something I am doing is not in accordance with my well being, then I must stop it. If I am interacting with another human being and the things that they are saying or doing are not promoting my well being, then it is my job, it is my duty to myself, to remove myself from the situation. I think it is okay to ask someone to stop doing something that I find harmful to myself in any way, shape or form. If I do not feel comfortable asking them to stop, then it is my responsibility to remove myself from the situation. There is no reason that is a good enough reason to allow myself to be in situations that are not good for me.

I am not saying it is going to be easy. I am not saying that I won’t make mistakes along the way. I am not saying that this is what’s best for you, but  I am saying is that I think it will be worth it.

I am choosing mental wellness over mental illness.

Thank you for letting me share!

Many blessings to all of you ❤

Erin Klis
