Message from The Faeries: We know what we ask of you is no easy task. We know it can be really difficult to dig down deep inside and find out what’s really going on with you right now. We know that most of you don’t really want to do the work, but we strongly urge you to think of this as your last ditch effort right now. 

Let’s be honest about life. Life is not easy. It’s full of struggles, difficult times and many obstacles. We know that this sucks immensely. Who the hell are we, the faery folk, to come along and tell you that you have to do yet another annoying thing. More work! 

Well, let’s remind you of somethings. Life isn’t always easy because you chose it to be that way. Why? So that you could learn. What are you here to learn about? What it means to be human. Why are humans so difficult? That’s a really great question! The only question you should really be asking yourself right now is: how am I truly feeling right now? 

Don’t thinking about the whys or why nots, and don’t worry yourself about what’s going on with other people. Just worry about you right now. There are some feelings you’ve been stuffing deep inside and ignoring. It’s time to unpack and look at them. We know it’s hard to do, but we promise it will be well worth the effort. 

Of course there might be some tears, uncomfortable feelings and other physical experiences that will come along with the process. Sit down and go into your centre. Find those feelings inside that you don’t want to look at it. Try hard to be a bit objective about it. Ask yourselves: Where does this feeling come from? What triggered it? Do I need to hold on to this anymore? What can I do about this? 

These feeling are like poison pills you have swallowed and it’s causing you more pain and illness then you need. It’s time to make yourself your cure. Spit these poison pills back up and throw them away. You’ll feel so much better for it.  Your new medicine is simply to love and take care of yourself.

Hello Everyone!

 My sincere apologies for the late reading, but things are a bit hectic for me this week and I’m trying to find my balance right this minute. Temperance is the perfect card, haha.

The Faeries assure me that everything is in divine order and that all I can do is the best that I can. So, with that, this is all you are getting for a reading this week, and that’s just how it is 🙂 

May you all find your own balance. Do what you can, when you can – and be at peace with that. You are the only person that knows how to keep your sacred energy cup full. Take care of yourself!

Faerie Card Reading for the Week of January 4 -10, 2016

Message from The Faeries: There is a certain heavy feeling to the beginning of this week. There are a few issues that may have tagged along with you from 2015, but don’t stress or worry about it. This too shall pass. Things are working themselves out, they just need a bit of extra time. Be patient with yourself and others this week.

Things might feel slow as well, this week. Just try to relax and slow yourself down to match the pace of the week. Fighting it and trying to force things to happen will only make you feel worse. If you feel yourself become irritable, please do yourself and everyone around you a favour, and put yourself in the time-out corner. The heaviness of this week will make everything much less bearable for everyone.

We strongly suggest that, for the beginning of this week, you spend some quality time with yourself. If you are still dealing with issues from 2015, get them done and over with so that you can properly move into 2016. Spend the time working through all your shadow stuff that arises this week. 

Rest assured that although the week starts off heavy, it will lighten up by the end of the week. This will be especially true if you do the hard work at the beginning of the week.

The Hermit’s staff, in the image from this card, is framing the waning moon. It’s during the waning period of this week that things may be difficult. When the New Moon hits later that week, that’s when things will turn around, so be sure to take care of that inner-work so that your manifestation energies will be on point with the lunar cycle changes.

Got Those New Moon Blues

I don’t know about the rest of you, but today has been a struggle. 

All day I felt like there was a darkness looming over me. I felt this overwhelming sadness and hopelessness. All this pain and fear I didn’t know I was carrying was weighing deep in my heart. I didn’t want to move or do anything. I just wanted to sit on my couch and feel sorry for myself. 

Eventually there was a small breakthrough and I forced myself to get off the couch and to go do laundry. I needed to move and I needed to clean. I learned that trick from an old friend. When you feel yourself covered in etheric grime, the best thing to do is to brush the dirt off your shoulder and clean! 

Laundry, change the bedding, do the dishes, sweep the floor, clean the bathroom. I had to change up the energy in my apartment and get my own energy flowing. I’m telling you, it really helps a lot. I start to notice the difference right away.

So, I thought about it while I was doing laundry. Tomorrow is the New Moon and it’s 11/11. It really makes sense that I’ve been feeling this way today. It’s my spirit letting me know that right now is time to let go of things that are not serving me. It’s time for me to do some writing. Writing down the bones. Getting those skeletons out of mental closet. I’m going to write a long letter to myself and burn it tonight. I’m also going to take a bath and cleanse myself. I’ll feel fresh when I enter my clean room and clean bed. I’ll also do a big smudge of my apartment tonight. 

I thought I would share in case any of you were feeling the same way. 

I don’t see why I need to be hanging on to some of these thoughts and feelings. I want to feel like I’m forward and not holding myself back.

Message from The Faeries: What does it mean to truly look after yourself? It means that you listen to your body, mind and spirit. You pay attention to all of the messages that they are sending you. Not only do you listen to what they are trying to tell you, but you also act in accordance with what they are asking you to do. This is no simple task, as we can guarantee you that you have been ignoring or avoiding some of these messages for quite some time.

Are you listening to your body? What is it telling you? Is it telling you it needs a rest? Is it telling you that certain foods are harming it? Is it letting you know that desires more energy? Are you listening? What are you doing with these messages? Some of you might be listening and acting. This is wonderful and congratulations to those that are listening. We know for a fact that most of you are just half paying attention and outright ignoring the messages your body is sending you. Why? Because you have this thing called an ego that is trying to override everything.

Your ego has been running the show for a long time now, but it’s time to tell your ego off and to allow the other aspects of yourself to jump in and do the essential work. It’s time to listen to your body. Your ego really wants to indulge in those rich foods, but your body has been telling you it needs other foods right now by making you feel sick after eating that decadent meal. It desperately wants and needs food that is nourishing and healthy. It needs fresh fruits and vegetables more than anything, and it needs lots of love too. The temptations of rich food is everywhere at this time of year, so try to find a balance by eating meals consist of raw vegetables and fruit.

The ego plays an important role in your survival, but it operates at a very low vibration compared to your higher-self. You’re higher-self communicates to you through your heart chakra. This is why it is so important for you to listen to your heart. It truly knows best. The ego will only guide you at the basic levels of survival. There is so much more to you than this.

Please take good care of yourselves. Please listen to what your heart, your body and what your mind needs for clarity. There are some really intense energies happening right now, and it very important that you are well looked after. Of course you should ask for assistance if you need help in looking after yourself, but remember that only you know what is best for you. So stop and listen.

Message from The Faeries: When was the last time you did something really fun? When was the last time you had a good laugh? When was the last time you did something really nice for yourself? It’s easy to get caught up in daily routines and habitual patterns of the day-to-day stuff that you can easily forget sometimes to have fun along the way.

Yes, there is so much going on in your life right now. Busy, busy and the momentum sometime feels like you can’t stop to smell the roses, but when you get into the habit of neglecting your inner child it will eventually throw a temper tantrum that will cause you stop and pay attention. Instead of forgetting about inner child’s need to be creative, to laugh and to have fun, try to get into the habit of doing something once a day for yourself. Even if you just spend 5 minutes a day with your inner child, you will feel so much more nurtured and satisfied in your life.

We recommend that once a day you sit down for a moment, close your eyes and ask your inner child what it would like to do today. Whatever the first thing that pops into your mind, listen carefully and then follow through with your intentions of taking care of your inner child. Dedicate at least 5 minutes to doing that one thing your inner child wants to do every day.

Maybe your inner child wants to jump and down and cause mayhem. Maybe it wants to draw a picture. Maybe it wants take a little nap with a teddy bear. Maybe it wants you to sing it a lullaby. Perhaps he or she would like to play dress-up.Whatever your inner child wants to do, don’t judge him or her, just listen to it kindly and gently, and then fulfill it’s wishes.

The reason it is so important to listen to your inner child is that is very much a part of yourself, and when you neglect any aspect of you, you are not taking proper care of yourself. To be a whole person requires you to respect and listen to every aspect of yourself. If any of you have spent any time with children, you know  then that when a child feels ignored it begins to act out or throw a tantrum. When you ignore your inner child, other parts of you begin to suffer. A child does not feel safe in this world when it’s needs are not being met. How can you feel good in this world if all of your needs are not being met?
