Faerie Card Reading for the Week of May 7 – 13, 2018

Card: Two of Spring – from the Fairy Tarot Cards by Doreen Virtue and Radleigh Valentine.

“You’re off to a wonderful start. It’s as if you have the whole world in your hands! Choices about the short-term future now appear, and the most important thing to remember is that it’s safe to take chances. If you had every possible resource at your disposal, what brave new steps would you take? Evaluate the situation, and then move forward quickly. Many more opportunities are on the way.”

Message from the Faeries: Last week the King of Spring arrive to bring the blessings of hard work, dedication and creativity. This week’s card is the sign that things are moving along quite well for you right now. The outcomes of your efforts will yield positive results. Keep the momentum going.

This week we want to remind you that you don’t have to do everything on your own. You could form a partnership or a team. Or maybe you might need to ask someone to help you in some way. Sometimes it’s hard to share challenges with others, but you aren’t an island. You don’t have to carry all the burden. Maybe you just need a second opinion. We hope you are open to the idea of working with others.

There is an exciting energy that’s flowing right now, and we think it would be great for you to take full advantage.

We love you,

The Faeries

Faerie Card Reading for the Week of April 30 – May 6, 2018

Card: King of Spring – from the Victorian Fairy Tarot by Lunaea Weatherstone.

“This card can be used to represent a man in the prime of life whose power is generously shared with others. A natural leader, he motivates by example and charisma rather than by domination or autocratic action. His self-assurance can make him seem a bit arrogant to those who don’t know him well. If this card doesn’t represent a particular person, it can mean a time of powerful personal growth and the ability to influence others in creative and positive ways. In a nutshell: confidence, creative growth, empowering others, charismatic leadership”

Message from the Faeries: It’s so great that the King of Spring has finally decided to show up for you this week. His timing, as always, is perfect. Just when you were feeling tired and a bit low energy, this King shows up to give you the boost needed to carry on with your creative endeavours.

Being from the element of fire, this faerie King is a force to reckon with with. He will show you how to move forward with your projects with ease and grace. He will give you lots of inspiration and creative ideas.

Let the energy of Spring give you the energy you need right now to move forward with your dreams and aspirations. The time for rest is coming to an end, and higher energies will move in to give you a much needed lift. Take this energy and run with it,

We love you,

The Faeries

Faerie Card Reading for the Week of March 20 – 26, 2017

Card: Queen of Cups – from The Hermetic Tarot by Godfrey Dowson.

“A fair young woman wearing a crown walks amid the lotuses of Isis and streams of water. To her right is an ibis and behind her is a cup from which issues a crayfish representing Cancer. Meanings: Imaginitive. Poetic. Kind. Coquettish. Good-natured.”

Message from the Faeries: The Queen of Cups, or rather the Queen of Water, has come to you this week to help you celebrate the beginning of Spring. Such a magical time of year that it only seems right that royalty should show up to help everyone usher in the changes. She has come to remind you of the sacredness around the changing of the seasons.

None of your ancestors took the coming of Spring in a casual way. They observed it and celebrated it wholeheartedly. There are countless traditions that have evolved and changed over time, but the meaning is still there at the heart of it. It’s only been in the last 100 years or so that we have witnessed some of you losing touch with the spirits of the seasons, as you have become more disconnected with Nature.

This time of year is so precious and beautiful.  The ground begins to thaw and the ice and snow melts. The waters begin to rise and flow. The birds begin to sing all day. The trees are budding. The flowers are starting to come out. Animals come out or hibernation and begin their mating rituals. Everything is coming to life again.

As you are also part of the natural world, you will also be greatly affected by the Spring. You start to feel more energetic. You will regain that sparkle in your eye. You will get a bit of bounce to your step. The smells, sights and sounds will entice you. Embrace the magic of Spring. If you feel inspired, please don’t hesitate to hold your own festivities.  We will bless it and shower you with gifts. What is the point of life if it is not filled with joy and celebration, and what better thing to celebrate than Life itself?

We love you!

Faerie Card Reading for the Week of March 28 – April 3, 2016

Card: Ishtar – from the Goddess Guidance Oracle Cards by Doreen Virtue.

“She’s been worshipper and invoked since ancient Babylonian times as the embodiment of Venus’s womanly energy. Ishtar represents the Divine feminine in all of her aspects, including nurturing, mothering, sensuality, fertility, healing, protection, and wisdom. As multidimensional goddess, Ishtar doesn’t tire of helping the men and women who call upon her for assistance. “

Message from The Faeries: With the arrival of spring, and the celebration of Easter this weekend, we invoke the divine goddess energies for you for this upcoming week.

Ishtar is one of the more ancient goddesses and she is very near and dear to our hearts. The reason why we love her so much is that she is not only such a loving, kind and gentle goddess, but she is also so strong, brave and noble. She is a very balanced being.

The reason that Ishtar is so evenly balanced is because she knows exactly when to say and and exactly when to say no. Everything she does is with exquisite precision. She says and does everything with careful thought and consideration. Some people think that she is absolute perfection. Truthfully, everything and everyone is already perfect as is.

This week it is very important that you say what you mean, and that you mean what you say. It goes the same for your actions. Only do the things that you mean and want to do. Of course, there may be obligations that you can’t get out of that you don’t really want to do. Honour those obligations, but try to find the balance by doing the things you really want to do.

Know when to say yes and when to say no. The best way know is to listen to your heart and follow your hearts instructions. Listen carefully and be true. If you find yourself having to say no to someone and it’s hard to do, remember that you don’t have to use force to communicate.

It’s okay to show remorse and be vulnerable in your truth. You can always say something like: “I really want to be able to say yes and help you right now, but I am not able to today. I’m sorry I can’t help you.” We have observed that some people feel the need to be cold or harsh when they say no, and this not very graceful. Try to use your grace when you have to say no, it will help yourself and the other person to accept your truth.

We love you.

Faerie Card Reading for the Week of February 22 – 28, 2016

Card: Seven of Spring – from The Victorian Fairy Tarot by Lunaea Weatherstone.

“Sometimes having to struggle for something you want adds sweetness to its attainment. If you are facing challenges to your power or obstacles to your endeavor, use your ingenuity to see how you can turn those trials to your advantage. Defend what is yours with righteous courage.”

Message from The Faeries: The first thing we would like to say about this card is – for those of you living in the Northern Hemisphere- rejoice in the fact that Spring is just around the corner. It probably feels like Winter will never end, but the faerie in this card is waving his wand around to remind you (and the birds) that spring is coming. It might look like he’s scolding the birds out of the garden, but he’s actually yelling at them to get back to work. The birds play an important role in bringing in the Spring. Their songs help to activate all the plants and animals to wake up and come to come out of hiding.

The second thing that we want to say about this card is that these obstacles you are encountering right now in your life are not there to defeat you. These difficulties and hardships are just a very small part of your story. They help create the coming narrative that involves triumph, joy and new adventures in your life. There are many wonderful things that are beginning to unfold for you. It’s hard to feel it right now, but it’s true.

If everything was great 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, would you really have any sense of gratitude or appreciation for your life? Most likely you would not, because what would you have to measure anything against? You live in this three dimensional reality that is encapsulated in duality. This is simply how it is.

So here is a tip for you: The sooner you accept reality exactly as it is, and the sooner that you accept the bad with the good, the more easier it is for you to navigate this world of yours. Also, stop blaming everything and everyone for your problems. Being a victim all the time is stopping you from moving forward with your life and your personal growth.

So, quit your whining and get up and do something. Winter is a time for lying around and being lazy – that time is coming to an end. Move it!

We say this all with love.

The Faeries.

Faerie Card Reading for the Week of April 6 – 12, 2015

Card: Three of Spring – from the Victorian Fairy Tarot by Lunaea Weatherstone.

“The first warm days of spring draw the fairies outdoors to joyously express their talents and avocations, like this happy musician. Perched in a blossoming pear tree, he strings his fairy harp. The pear tree’s message is ‘affection and comfort’, both of which are wholeheartedly felt by the fairy as he is joined by three linnets, who begin an impromptu concert with a thrilling burst of melody. The fairies’ relationship with the birds is a complicated one, but for the most part they enjoy each other’s company and, in some cases, share a deep and abiding friendship. Music is the bond that links them best, and all winter born fairy and linnet look forward to joining together in song. As Wordsworth wrote in his poem ‘The Green Linnet’:

In this sequester’d nook how sweet – To sit upon my orchard-seat – And flowers and birds once more to greet – My last year’s friends together!”

Message from the Faeries: For many of you reading this, you are in the throws of early Spring. The snow is starting to melt and you find yourself becoming more social. Many of you are starting to spend lots of time outside, and some of you are fortunate enough to be enjoying early blossoms and flowers. This is definitely a time where you are coming out of your Winter hibernation, and are spending more time with friends and family.

This would be a good week to be outside, enjoying the wonders of nature. Go out and visit the birds and they are busy building their nests, coupling and laying eggs. Listen carefully to their songs, especially in the morning, as they sing to the trees, encouraging them to blossom and grow leaves for them to seek shelter in. Pay attention to the close relationship that the birds share with the trees. One can’t live without the other.

Let the energy of Spring in the air inspire you to do something creative. Listen to music. Go dancing. Make dinner for some friends. Write a poem. Sing a song. Do whatever it is you do to lift your heart and feel light. Don’t get so caught up in the humdrum of day to day life. Let nature lift your spirit and feel your spirit soar.

It’s time to put that spring back in your step!

We hope you all have a wonderful week.

We love you.

The Faeries

Grump Grump Grump

I don’t know about anyone else, but lately I have have been feeling GRUMPY. Grumpy as all hell. I grump over here, grump over there, and grump grump grump. I go to bed grumpy….I wake up happy, but I go to bed grumpy. I feel good when I wake up…it’s the moment I leave my apartment and have to deal with people that grump starts to set in. Right now, for me, people are exhausting. Not everyone..there are a few exceptions, but overall I just do not want to play well with others. I think I need to be sent to the time-out corner for a while.

I asked The Faeries why I am so grumpy and they tell me it’s because I am not spending enough time in the day doing the things that I enjoy doing. I do things – like go to work and even go to the gym – out of a sense of obligation and not because I enjoy doing these things. I am finding it so very challenging to find a balance between all of these things. I go to work and start feeling grumpy and then I feel too tired when I come home to do the things that I enjoy, so I plunk myself down in front of the tv and zone out for a couple of hours. I just want to numb myself with tv and food. I wake up, go to the gym, putter around and sometimes do enjoyable things, but overall I am not making it happen.

What can I do to ungrump myself? The Faeries are saying that it’s quite alright to be grumpy sometimes and that I need to just be sure to have my alone time every day. Also, they are saying there is a cycle and rhythm to life and that it’s part of my cycle to be more hermit like right now – I’ve thought about it and this is true. Soon the weather will get warmer and the sun will be out more often and I will feel like being outside and socializing. It’s okay to take a social time out, but I should be more diligent about spending my off work time doing joy related things. Things that make me happy. I’m working on it.

So I am going to just ride this time out. I know it won’t last forever. Don’t worry, I am not likely to grump at you. It’s all kept on the down-low. I vent it out when I jog or go to the gym. Besides, you will probably feel a natural inclination to walk around me, haha. It’s good to be yourself, even if you are feeling grumpy. I don’t hide it, but I also don’t try to make other people grumpy too. I’m owning my grumpy-self. So don’t mind me while I grump away.

Faerie Card Reading for the Week of September 29th – October 5th, 2014

Card: Transformation – from The Faerie Guidance Oracle by Paulina Cassidy.

“The Faerie of Transformation glows, the light shifting and dancing upon her as she ushers in the recent metamorphosis of a caterpillar into a moth. Moths represent mystery and transformation, and are believed in many cultures to be spirits of the dead returning to earth as winged beings of beauty and freedom. Things in our lives that seemingly are dead or at a dead end need not always be cut away; sometimes they may be transformed into something that can live, and live better for us. The ever-changing trees and vines shown here will sometimes stagnate in their growth but when pruned at the right time and in a healthy way, new growth and healthier life will come.”

Message from The Faeries: This past week signaled a time of great transformation. Whether you live in the Northern Hemisphere and are experiencing the changes of Fall, or you live in the Southern Hemisphere and you are experiencing the new beginnings of Spring, The Equinox signifies that big changes are occurring not only in the external environment, but also in your internal environment. Everyone and everything is undergoing a great transformation at this time.

Of course you could say that everything is always changing at all times, and this is very true. The is a truer than true truth. Everything is always changing at all times. We could even make the argument that nothing is ever really stagnate, because stagnation in itself is just a very super slowed down transformation. Death itself is not an ending. Death is one of the eloquent forms of transformation, just as birth is one of the greatest sparks of life transformation. You would be very hard-pressed to show us any object or being and prove to us that it isn’t in some sort of form of transformation. No one or no thing is immune to the tides of change.

The thing about right now is that the process of change is sped up a little bit. Things are moving at a bit of a faster pace at the moment. When things are moving at this speed of change, you are able to notice the changes in your life that you may normally not pay attention to. With this burst of transformative energy occurring globally, we would encourage to harness this energy to your advantage.

This is the perfect time to change an unwanted, unhealthy pattern. Think of something that you’ve been wanting to change in your life and begin to take the steps needed to make the changes. For example, let’s say you want to start eating more healthy. This would be a good time to do a cleanse or a detox so that you can clean out your system of all the toxins, and then you can begin your new healthy eating patterns.

Right now, this week, would also be a good time to start a new project. Is there something you’ve been wanting to start but have been holding yourself back for some reason. This is an excellent time to work on this idea of yours. The energies that are happening right now will work in your favour and will help to propel you to an outcome you desire.

We hope you have a wonderful, joyful and transformative week.

We love you,

The Faeries

Faerie Card Reading for the Week of March 31st – April 6th, 2014

Card: Connect with Nature – from the Magical Messages from the Fairies Oracle Cards by Doreen Virtue.

Message from The Faeries: This is a time, seasonally, of great transformation. Depending on where you live, you could be moving from summer to fall, or from winter to spring. Either way, these are both times where everything outside in the “natural world” is moving from one state into another. We have said this before, and not now it is time to remind you again, that when these seasonal changes happen, there is a very special quality to the air that happens. It’s really quite magical, and there are so many health benefits to atmosphere when the plants move into a state of dormancy or rebirth.

We are certain that most of you can physical sense this in the atmosphere. It’s as though the air changes it’s smell. It’s as though your senses are heightened at this time, and quite honestly they are. You become more aware or alert. With your senses in full effect, it’s really the best time to be out walking around in nature. It’s the best time of year to be outside, taking in all the beauty, smells, sights, sounds and textures. Just being outside and breathing the air, as opposed to staying inside all the time – which a lot of you have been doing if you have been coming out of the winter – it’s really important to be outside and taking in this very invigorating air.

It’s not a coincidence that the Spring and the Fall are traditionally times where people meet and couple with each other. It most certainly something in the air that brings people together. So for those of you who have been single and are wanting to meet their partner – this really is magical time to be outside and to meet other people. Even if you are in a relationship and are just wanting to meet some new people and make new friends – this really is the best time to be out there and meeting people. There really is something magic in the air.

We think that being outside in the woods or by the ocean really is best at this time of year, but if you can’t make it to these places, we suggest a walk in the park or just walking through the more quite neighbourhoods of your area. This gives you an opportunity to really take in what’s going on around you – with the plants, trees and animals. Being connected to Nature has so many health benefits on so many levels that volumes could be written about it.

So please, go outside! Enjoy the fresh air! Feel the magic!

We love you!

The Faeries.
