Faerie Card Reading for the Week of July 4 – 6, 2016

Card: Four of Winter – from the Fairy Tarot Cards by Doreen Virtue and Radleigh Valentine.

“There’s great power in quieting your mind through meditation or taking a break. Solutions that previously eluded you because you overthought them can suddenly become crystal clear. If you’re facing a challenge at this time, take this card as your sign that you need to stop thinking about it for now. “

Message from the Faeries: It may seem a bit strange to see a Winter card appear in Summer, but sometimes we need a reminder from a different time. Winter teaches you to get lots of rest and to slow down. Summer is a time of high energy where everything passes by quickly. We urge you to slow down and savour the Summer instead of being so busy.

Sometimes when things move quickly, it’s easy to get caught up in drama or to get carried away when emotions run high. This is another reason to slow down. You will enjoy summer so much more if you take it easy. Rest and relax.

It is also very important that you spend a lot of time outdoors. Go for a meandering walk through a forest, or take a leisurely walk on the beach. Take a nap outdoors if you can. Go camping and sleep under the stars. The fresh air and nature will help relax you and heal you. Being in nature is a balm for the soul.

Summer is a time to bask in the glory of nature and enjoy all that it has to offer. Think of all the fruit and berries that are sitting in the sun, getting ripe. Imagine yourself to be like this fruit, getting sweet and juicy, just right for the picking. The fruit just hangs there and lets the sun do it’s job. The sun nurtures and gives you energy. So, recharge those batteries this week and take it easy.

We love you.

Faerie Card Reading for the Week of June 20 – 26, 2016

Card: IX The Hermit – from the Paulina Tarot by Paulina Cassidy.

“The hermit’s meditative journey is supported by his contemplative companions, who bring their own light. The lake symbolizes self-reflection, and the stars in the sky are watchful, guiding lights. The hermit’s cloak is patterned with blue circles of tranquility, as the soul’s journey is cyclical. The bird on her head leads her to transcendent new experiences.”

Message from the Faeries: As the season shifts this week into Summer (or Winter), your life begins a new phase as well. You may experience a lot of changes at this time. In order to help yourself ease into this new phase, we recommend that you spend a lot of time by yourself this week.

Sometimes it’s good to be by yourself so that you can really process everything that is happening around you and happening for you at this time. Taking time to yourself allows you to really integrate everything into the now.

While it is true that life is a shared experience, it is also your own special and unique experience. If you are always measuring yourself against those around you, then you rob yourself of recognizing your own path. So, take some time out to reflect on where you have been the lay few months, think about where you are at right now, and then think about where you want to be.

Listen to your own wisdom. You have already had such an extraordinary life. You know deep down the answers you seek. Trust yourself and move in the direction that feels best for you, not what suits other people’s journey.

Wishing you all the best.

Faerie Card Reading for the Week of June 22 – 28, 2015

Card: Communication – from The Faerie Guidance Oracle cards by Paulina Cassidy.

“The Faerie of Communication tilts her head in a receptive gesture of understanding, listening intently to her  feathered friend’s message. A common bond between the two is apparent. Both she and the bird clutch twigs and berries which they’ve traded as a symbol of the sharing of ideas and insight.  Red symbolizes life force and passion, favourable ingredients in support of good communication. As illustrated, not all communication is spoken or written word, but also involves more subtlety such as looks, gestures, actions, and even the environment we create around us. Sometimes all these things speak louder than words. This wise faerie knows that communication is one of the vital elements in any relationship; clear, open, and honest communication is a must.”

Message from the Faeries: Say what you mean and mean what you say. This week we strongly urge you to be very clear and precise in your communication. When you speak, find the fine balance between choosing the correct words to relay your thoughts and ideas, and projecting the energy vibration that you want carried with your message. No mincing words and no hidden meanings behind what you say. This week it is vital that you express yourself with clarity.

What you say and how you say it carries out a strong vibration. Not only are you sending out this energy to the person you are communicating to, but it also transfers to all the other living beings in the vicinity as well as the surrounding space. As a matter of fact, this energy ripples out into the Universe. If you could really grasp this concept, you would most likely be very caring and mindful of how you communicate. Everything you say, think or do is a form of communication. You are constantly sending these messages outward, and what comes back to you is a direct result of this.

How you express yourself, how you communicate, is very much a part of the alchemy of creation. What is it that you want in your life? How are you asking for these things? Are you using love and kindness as part of your expression? Are you using anger, shouting and yelling? Really think about the energy and the words that you use to create the things that you want in your life. What kind of response does life give back to you? Do you see the relationship between how you communicate and the type of answers you get?

To create the life you so rightfully deserve, you need to execute your thoughts, actions and words with clarity and precision. When you are foggy, uncertain or unclear you will not get the results you want. Also, if you are asking for more love in your life, but are walking around feeling sorry for yourself, you are projecting a vibration that makes it impossible for you to see all the love coming your way. Be true to yourself and be clear.  Communicate what it is exactly that you want, with love, and then carry that vibration within you.

This week is a high vibrational week, full of celebrations for a new season. Use this energy to help you create your amazing life.

We love you.

Grump Grump Grump

grumpy

I don’t know about anyone else, but lately I have have been feeling GRUMPY. Grumpy as all hell. I grump over here, grump over there, and grump grump grump. I go to bed grumpy….I wake up happy, but I go to bed grumpy. I feel good when I wake up…it’s the moment I leave my apartment and have to deal with people that grump starts to set in. Right now, for me, people are exhausting. Not everyone..there are a few exceptions, but overall I just do not want to play well with others. I think I need to be sent to the time-out corner for a while.

I asked The Faeries why I am so grumpy and they tell me it’s because I am not spending enough time in the day doing the things that I enjoy doing. I do things – like go to work and even go to the gym – out of a sense of obligation and not because I enjoy doing these things. I am finding it so very challenging to find a balance between all of these things. I go to work and start feeling grumpy and then I feel too tired when I come home to do the things that I enjoy, so I plunk myself down in front of the tv and zone out for a couple of hours. I just want to numb myself with tv and food. I wake up, go to the gym, putter around and sometimes do enjoyable things, but overall I am not making it happen.

What can I do to ungrump myself? The Faeries are saying that it’s quite alright to be grumpy sometimes and that I need to just be sure to have my alone time every day. Also, they are saying there is a cycle and rhythm to life and that it’s part of my cycle to be more hermit like right now – I’ve thought about it and this is true. Soon the weather will get warmer and the sun will be out more often and I will feel like being outside and socializing. It’s okay to take a social time out, but I should be more diligent about spending my off work time doing joy related things. Things that make me happy. I’m working on it.

So I am going to just ride this time out. I know it won’t last forever. Don’t worry, I am not likely to grump at you. It’s all kept on the down-low. I vent it out when I jog or go to the gym. Besides, you will probably feel a natural inclination to walk around me, haha. It’s good to be yourself, even if you are feeling grumpy. I don’t hide it, but I also don’t try to make other people grumpy too. I’m owning my grumpy-self. So don’t mind me while I grump away.
